Highland: The Greatest Show

Produced by Highland High School's Digital Media Production II Class of 24-25. Special thanks to editor Hailey Tramonte for all her hard work and time dedicated to this project. Highland High School’s Digital Media Production II Program would like to announce the debut of its special project entitled “Highland: The Greatest Show”. This video is a celebration of many wonderful aspects of Highland Local Schools and represents a year-long collaboration of some of Highland’s finest. The project started in the fall of 2024 during spirit week, featuring the world famous HHS color day pep rally, and it culminated on graduation day with some never-before-seen glimpses of our graduating seniors. This segment includes a touching tribute to the class of 2025, some stunning aerial views of our campus, and a representation of the journey through elementary, middle, and high school that is shared by Highland graduates. Additionally, the project features some of Highland’s sports teams, performing artists, a moment from the state championship soccer match, our middle school’s musical theater program, our high school’s thespians, Mr. Hornet participants, and a glimpse at HHS students around the world: including groups who traveled to France and Spain! There were many individuals who helped contribute to this project’s success. We would like to thank Mrs. Carrie Knapp, Mr. Robert Henry, and Dr. LeAnne Gausman for providing us the time to operate in their buildings, the third grade teachers at Granger Elementary and the 8th grade teachers at Highland Middle School who lent us their talented students, as well as the HHS counselors who allowed us to film on graduation day. We would like to thank all of those who contributed in performing in the project and sharing their talents with us. We hope everyone enjoys this project and that it will serve as a positive memory for many years to come. Thank you for watching, and remember… …it's a great day to be a hornet!
