1980s Playground Games Ever Played at Recess (Nobody Ever Wrote Down the Rules)

1980s Playground Games Ever Played at Recess: nobody ever wrote down the rules, so we try to do it now. We walk the blacktop through cooties, freeze tag, jump rope rhymes, marbles, Red Rover, wall ball, tetherball, four square and kickball. You will hear the sounds, the house rules your school remembered differently, and the language every kid used to settle an argument. 0:00 The recess bell 0:55 Cooties 2:30 Freeze tag 3:50 Jump rope rhymes 5:15 Marbles 6:35 Red Rover 7:55 The language of the playground 9:15 Wall ball 10:15 Tetherball 11:20 Four square 12:35 Kickball 13:50 What recess gave us 14:20 Which game was yours? #1980s #nostalgia #recess
