Meet Forest Africa Zambia Limited – 2023 SEED Climate Adaptation Award Winner

Forest Africa Zambia Limited processes indigenous wild fruits into organic juices and baobab seed oil, embracing a zero-waste philosophy by utilizing all parts of the baobab fruit and planting seeds for reforestation. They also process Monkey bread and African Medlar fruits. Supplying products to over 200 retail shops, the company boosts rural incomes and climate resilience by creating a market for wild fruits. Over 200 households supply wild fruits, and the company employs 18 people at its factory. Additionally, they have planted over 3,000 baobab trees.
