Scooter Dive the Intake Tunnel in Lake Mead

It's another beautiful day at Lake Mead! Join us while we do a sidemount scooter dive to intake #1 in Lake Mead. Intake #1 might actually be intake #2, but we're not really sure. Intake 1 (or 2) were the intake inlets for fresh water pulled from Lake Mead for the Las Vegas area. These intakes have since been abandoned once they completed intake #3. Our dive plan is to start the dive from the beach at Boulder Harbor. Roughly 6 minutes at a 36° heading. 18 minutes at a 358° heading. Intersect the Saddle Island shoreline and go North (right) Reach the dive site in a couple of minutes after the turn. Path back will be following the Saddle Island shoreline.
