A Spring Weekend in Rondane | Hiking from Høvringen | 4K

A late spring weekend in the mountains around Høvringen, on the edge of Rondane National Park. Over two days, we head out on two hikes through a landscape still caught between winter and summer. The first hike takes us towards Formokampen (1,428 m). As we climb higher, the landscape gradually opens up, revealing wide views towards Rondane and the surrounding mountains. The following day, we set out towards Skallfjellet, crossing the open mountain landscape before reaching the distinctive stone cairns at our destination. On the way back, we pass Rossbu Chapel before returning to Putten Seter, where the journey began.
