Railway Underpass Box Jacking under Verona System temporary bridges | Pordenone - 2021

Pordenone, 2021. The challenge: positioning a 4,550-tonne underpass without stopping a single train on the Venice-Trieste railway line. For the southern bypass road project in Pordenone, Italy (connecting the S.S. 13 state road and the A28 highway), the main objective was to cross beneath the double-track railway in complete safety and without traffic disruption. The technical solution? The Verona System. La sfida: posizionare un sottopasso da 4.550 tonnellate senza bloccare neanche un treno sulla linea Venezia-Trieste. Per i lavori della strada di circonvallazione a sud di Pordenone (collegamento S.S. n.13 - Autostrada A28), l'obiettivo principale era sottopassare il doppio binario ferroviario in totale sicurezza e senza interruzioni del traffico. La soluzione tecnica applicata? Il Sistema Verona.
