Keep Walking | 8/23/26

What do you do when God gives you a word, but the evidence has not arrived yet? In this message from John 4:46–54, we follow the nobleman who came to Jesus in crisis and received a simple but life-changing promise: “Go your way. Your son lives.” He believed the word Jesus spoke—and then he walked. This sermon explores the space between God’s promise and visible confirmation: the road where faith is formed. God is developing us from a faith that only believes after seeing into a faith that can keep walking before the evidence arrives. In this message, you’ll discover: What pressure reveals about what you are truly trusting. Why faith must surrender the need to control how God will work. How God’s Word anchors us when circumstances remain uncertain. Why the absence of confirmation is not evidence of God’s absence. How God can be working in places you cannot see. How your personal walk of faith can become a witness that strengthens your household and community. Faith is not pretending the report does not affect you. Faith is trusting the One who spoke and taking the next step before the evidence arrives.
