The story takes place in a peaceful land inhabited by Eyedball and his friends, who are kidnapped one day by the evil Horloth. The captive creatures are transformed into beating hearts, and their energy is used to power the villain’s gloomy kingdom. Eyedball sets out for Horloth’s fortress to rescue his companions. The gameplay is divided into 45 rooms, in which you control the hero by moving left and right and jumping from one platform to the next. Along the way, there are various obstacles and enemies that must be avoided, as Eyedball has no weapons or ability to engage in direct combat. His greatest ability, however, is the power to rotate the entire room, allowing him to reach previously inaccessible parts of the level and find a path to the trapped hearts. In some rooms, there are also teleports that move the character to a different location on the screen. The player’s task is to collect all the hearts and then reach the exit before the time limit expires. The levels therefore require not only dexterity and quick reflexes, but also careful observation of the surroundings and proper planning of subsequent room rotations.
