It's Not Your Eyes, the book for the shooter past sixty who blames his sight (how the rib should look in the corner of your eye, and a seven-day plan that is not in the videos): https://angeloclays.netlify.app/?b=1&...
"Hide the rib. If you can see the rib, you'll miss." Taken word for word, the old rule is false: a good mount shows you rib on every shot. You miss when you LOOK at it. The way I teach it, the rule is seven words: see the rib, never look at it. "Italian" only means where I learned it: a small country ground in the hills outside Siena. I promise no score.
In this video (American trap from the sixteen-yard line, right-handed; from the left shoulder, mirror it):
1. Why the rule cannot be true as written: a good mount shows you rib
2. What one look at the rib costs: your eyes turn inward and refocus, and the clay is leaving
3. The rib's one honest job: one check before the call, then eyes out and one slow breath
4. Why "don't look at the rib" makes you look more, and the job to give your eyes instead
Then the last piece: what a two thousand ten experiment says about your final look at the target, and how a rib hides itself.
Two things to try at home with no gun at all: your own nose, and the thumb under the light switch, ten times.
I'm Angelo. I was raised in the hills of Siena and I have spent my life on a small Tuscan shooting ground, first shooting and then teaching the older members of the club. Angelo is a digital presenter: the character and the voice in these videos are made with AI tools.

Tonight, bring the thumb up under the switch, close your eyes, and ask what you can describe. Switch, or thumb. Write that one word in the comments, with your age.

These were small studies, with footballers and elite shooters, not club shooters past sixty. No study can tell you what you will score.
A word of care: this video is general shooting instruction, not medical or eye-care advice, and nothing here is a promise. It is about where you put the eyes you have, not about seeing better. If your sight has changed, see your eye doctor first and say that you shoot. Follow the safety rules of your club and your range officer at all times. The home drills in this video use no gun. Stay inside what is comfortable for your shoulder, and keep a firm chair beside you if your balance is not what it was.
