Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said compensation payments are targeted to be completed by October 10, with ₹261 crore already released in the first phase. According to the information provided, ₹20 crore has been allocated for affected areas in South Odisha. The Revenue Minister said further compensation will be provided as soon as final damage assessment reports are received. The government has also suspended the Chandbali BDO over alleged negligence during the flood situation.
