WE NEED A BIGGER MILL 😳| The Story Behind Our Biggest Job So Far

We took on our biggest project yet — two monster salvage logs, each around 6 metres long and weighing a combined 16 tonnes green. We had to trim both logs with the chainsaw to mill the full 1900mm widths! This property was insane, perched on top of a stunning hill overlooking cane fields in the Northern Rivers. These trees lived a long life… and are now getting a second life as dining or boardroom slabs. A huge thank you to Peter down the road for lending us his dedicated slabber — there’s no way we could have tackled logs this size without it. We even had to use the 25-tonne excavator to budge them.
