WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? — Velvet Witness Life and death are set before you. The door is open. Choose life. This is for the person who already knows. You know about the cross. You know about the empty tomb. You know why He came. And every time He calls, you quietly say "I'll follow when I'm older. Just not today." You want mercy at the ending and your own way until then. You want Heaven when you're through, but not a living King deciding what you do. The rich man in Luke 12 looked at a harvest he couldn't store and said he'd tear the barns down and build bigger — then eat and drink for years, his future secure. Heaven called him a fool. His soul was required that night. He could count his money and his grain. He could not count the breaths God had not yet given him. Then there's the evidence. The law established a matter on two or three witnesses. Peter saw Him alive. The Twelve saw Him stand. James went from doubt to worship. Paul went from hatred to faith. More than five hundred saw Him risen, most of them still living when Paul wrote it down. Men who had been hiding in fear carried His name across the world and died refusing to take it back. Tacitus recorded the execution. Josephus wrote of Jesus and of James. Pliny reported believers singing worship to Him as God. If two or three establish a matter, what will you do with five hundred? He placed eternity inside you. That's why nothing here feels whole. You don't have to earn it and you don't have to hide first. Bring the guilt. Bring the secrets. Bring the years you threw away. He isn't asking for perfection. He's calling you today. That pounding in your chest isn't proof you have more time. It's mercy giving you one more moment to decide.
