🔴 LATEST UPDATE →    • Tropical Storm Trudy Could Go MAJOR...   Simon dropped from 155 mph to 100 mph... but it isn't done, and its moisture is heading for the U.S. ABOUT THIS VIDEO: I walk you through Hurricane Simon, which peaked at 155 mph Saturday night and was down to 100 mph at the National Hurricane Center's 2 PM MST advisory today, drifting about 75 miles west of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico. The Hurricane Center expects it to weaken to around 75 mph by Tuesday, then strengthen again to about 100 mph as it nears the coast by Mazatlán on Thursday, and they call it a low-confidence track. Back home, moisture from Simon feeds storms and flooding rain in the south-central U.S. into Thursday, the South sees record heat, and then a strong cold front brings frost and freeze threats by the weekend. At the end I tell you the one day to circle this week.
