Sri Siva Poojya | Ragamalika | Adi | Acharyas of Sringeri | Navratri Special – 9 | Nanditha Kannan

Navarathri — 9 Songs, 9 Days 🌺 Navarathri is a celebration of Shakti — the divine feminine in all her myriad forms, manifestations and expressions. Over these nine days, I wanted to celebrate the festival with a collection of nine compositions, each offering a prayer to a different form of the Goddess. The repertoire brings together compositions in different ragams, by different composers, from different musical traditions and regions across our Indian motherland. I’ve also chosen to mark each day with its traditional Navarathri colour, making the series a little visual celebration alongside the music! Nine days, nine songs, nine colours — a small musical offering at the feet of the Divine Goddess. 🌸 I hope you enjoy listening to these as much as I’ve enjoyed putting this series together, and that the music accompanies you through these beautiful nine days of Navarathri. Happy Navarathri! 🙏❤️ -------------------------------------------------------- As the sacred Navarathri celebrations of this year draw to a close, here is the final composition of this 9-day series, a composition of the Acharyas of Sharada Pitham, Sringeri. This has been set to a beautiful Ragamalika by my Guru, Sangita Kalanidhi Vidwan RK Shriramkumar. May the Divine Goddess bless us all with peace, good health, happiness, prosperity, strength, well-being. May Her grace remove all obstacles and fill our homes and hearts with positivity and happiness. I hope everyone enjoyed the series of compositions so close to my heart, as much as I enjoyed presenting them and putting together this small series ❤️ Thank you for listening!
