Welcome back to Day 29 of my daily Mumbai diaries! 🏛️✨ As someone living on the outskirts of Mumbai and working at an interior design studio, weekends are my holy grail for getting out and actually discovering this massive city. This weekend, the mission was simple: street shopping for cute accessories and essentials. My friends first dragged me to Hill Road in Bandra via local train during peak humidity—and honestly? Between the packed trains, the rude vendors, the pushy crowds, and the chaotic walking stretches, I was thoroughly over it within an hour. Then, they took me down south to Colaba, and my entire world flipped. Stepping out of Churchgate station into that crisp, pre-rain sea breeze felt like stepping into an entirely different city. The wide, clean footpaths, Victorian heritage facades, cricket matches on the Oval Maidan, and luxury cars rolling past—as an architect, I was practically drooling at the architecture and streetscapes. Once we reached Colaba Causeway, even the street shopping felt 10x better. From friendly stall owners and aesthetic indie trinkets to the artistic vibe of nearby Kala Ghoda, South Bombay officially has my entire heart. My new life goal? Figure out how to afford living in Colaba. If you love South Bombay architecture, honest street shopping reviews, or romanticizing city walks in your 20s, remember to Like, Comment, and Subscribe! See you tomorrow! ❤️ #mumbaivlog #mumbaidiaries #colabacauseway #southbombay #BandraVsColaba #architectlife #mumbaistreetshopping #dayinmylife #SoBoVibe
