There is often more than one exercise or test going on at the same time
This is mostly weapons school or test/eval flights from Nellis.
The Nellis Range controller "Black Jack" can only be heard when they are using a certain radio site.
The tower at Groom Lake is usually strong enough to be understandable.
Approach and departure control for Groom Lake is only heard when they are using a certain radio site.
"Lion" is a Janet type flight.
"Luvin" is a other type from Groom. This would include the Groom Pavehawks and chase planes (F-16s etc.)
For Tonopah Test tower(Silverbow), I only had the UHF freq. The tower itself can't be heard.
Callsigns from Groom and Silverbow usually change when they switch to flight test freqs.
Groom Helo (Luvin 28) 5:02 to 5:55 with balls (radar calibration spheres)
29:23 to 30:25 F-16 with low oil pressure emergency lands at Tonopah Test
1:09:57 to 1:50:04 Viper 1 and 2 test flight, both land at Silverbow. 2 lands with possible unsecured decoy
3:48:03 to 4:23:18 Several aircraft test flight
8:20:52 to 8:23:19 Luvin 60 flight dropped 2 Mk-84 inerts at target 76-09.
8:23:19 to 8:26:38 Killer 02, 01 and Casper 5 to land at Yucca.
