Airspace map: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7058/70... There is often more than one exercise or test going on at the same time This is mostly weapons school or test/eval flights from Nellis. The Nellis Range controller "Black Jack" can only be heard when they are using a certain radio site. The tower at Groom Lake is usually strong enough to be understandable. Approach and departure control for Groom Lake is only heard when they are using a certain radio site. "Lion" is a Janet type flight. "Luvin" is a other type from Groom. This would include the Groom Helos and chase planes (F-16s etc.) For Tonopah Test tower(Silverbow), I only had the UHF freq. The tower itself can't be heard. Callsigns from Groom and Silverbow usually change when they switch to test flight freqs. 13:58 to 14:22 Wolf helos test flight last run and rtb silverbow 1:33:47 to 1:46:17 and 1:49:49 to 2:04:14 Range familiarization flights for Red Flag 3:49:14 to 5:07:58 First Red Flag 12-3 exercise
