The Psychology of Self-Worth: Stop Earning Your Worth
What if the things you’re achieving aren’t making you feel worthy — they’re simply helping you temporarily forget that you don’t?
In this episode, we explore the psychology of self-worth and why so many of us end up tying our value to achievement, appearance, money, intelligence, relationships, approval, or success.
The problem isn’t wanting to improve. Ambition isn’t the enemy.
The deeper question is: Are you pursuing these things because they genuinely matter to you, or because you believe you’ll finally feel good enough once you achieve them?
We look at why a promotion can feel amazing and then quickly become normal, why comparison can make even successful people feel inadequate, and how self-improvement can quietly turn into self-rejection.
Most importantly, we explore what changes when you stop treating your accomplishments as evidence that you deserve to feel worthy.
You don't have to stop growing. You don't have to stop being ambitious. You just don't have to earn your right to value yourself.
