A hitman gives cops a fake name, but has no idea the truck keys in his pocket just exposed him. Real bodycam, police interrogations and trial footage from the Jared Bridegan murder-for-hire case in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. In today's body camera video and true crime documentary, we cover the case of Jared Bridegan, a 33-year-old Microsoft executive ambushed on date night after stopping to move a tire left in the road. Detectives followed that tire to a rental house owned by Mario Fernandez Saldana, the new husband of Jared's ex-wife Shanna Gardner, and to his former tenant Henry Tenon. Watch the traffic stop where Tenon gives deputies a fake name, the police interrogation where detectives pretend to be a traffic unit, the moment the killer realizes he's been caught, the $10,000 "Kickstarter" checks, the wiretap, the arrests of Mario Fernandez and Shanna Gardner, and the murder trial verdict. Which mistake gave them away first: the tire, the keys, or the checks? Tell us in the comments. Subscribe for new true crime cases every week. Every one comes down to a single loose thread.
