天草御所浦の魅力 ～伝統のとんとこ漁と離島文化～ Fascinating Goshoura, Amakusa

大小18の島々からなる天草市御所浦町（ごしょうらまち）には、「とんとこ漁」というユニークな名前の伝統漁法があります。 天草の豊かな海でとれる新鮮な海の幸、そして島特有の文化と歴史が楽しめる御所浦町の魅力をご紹介します。 Fascinating Goshoura, Amakusa Traditional Tontoko-Fishing Method and Insular Cultures Goshoura-machi in Amakusa-shi consists of 18 islands of various sizes, where a uniquely-named traditional fishing method 'Tontoko-Fishing' has been passed down from generation to generation. We will take a look at some local seafood fresh from the rich sea of Amakusa, along with the charms of Goshoura-machi where its unique island cultures and histories are ubiquitous.
