Conceptual Dynamic Simulation: Slugging During Startup of a Multiphase Pipeline

This video illustrates a conceptual slugging analysis during the startup of an initially empty multiphase pipeline. Initially, liquid accumulates along the line particularly at the low point. As the production rate is ramped up, the accumulated liquid is swept out and arrives at the inlet facility as a large liquid slug.
