Hogwarts Legacy: HOGSMEADE ADVENTURE BEGINS! 🍺 First Visit & Three Broomsticks | Ep03 (Steam PC)

Hello folks and welcome back to Gaming with Geronimo! After a long break, we’re finally returning to Hogwarts Legacy on Steam PC for Episode 3 — and our first real adventure outside the castle takes us straight to Hogsmeade! We begin this episode at the entrance to Hogsmeade with Natty as our classmate and spend plenty of time doing what I naturally do in open-world games: explore EVERYTHING. 😄 Along the way, we work through the Hogsmeade objectives while searching side areas for loot, flying Field Guide Pages, collectibles, interactable objects, and anything else I can grab before moving the story forward. Our first visit takes us throughout Hogsmeade and eventually to one of the most recognizable locations in the Wizarding World — The Three Broomsticks. As someone who enjoys getting Butterbeer whenever I visit Universal Studios, I got a kick out of finally reaching the Butterbeer scene in-game! 🍺⚡ After everything wraps up in Hogsmeade, we make our way back to Hogwarts and finish the episode in the Gryffindor Common Room. A Quick Personal Update Early in the gameplay, I also talk briefly about why the channel has been quiet. It has been roughly four weeks since my last upload, and it has actually been much longer since I last played this Hogwarts Legacy series — Episode 2 was posted November 26, 2025. During my recent break, I experienced a pulmonary embolism and pulmonary infarction and have been focused on recovery. I'm thankfully moving in the right direction, but for a while I need to slow things down. Gaming with Geronimo isn't going anywhere. I'll still upload and play when I feel up to it — just without forcing a schedule while I continue recovering. And Hogwarts Legacy turned out to be a great game to ease back into. I can explore, enjoy the world, take my time, and stop when I need to. The Visual Upgrade Since Episode 1 🤯 One of the really cool things about coming back to this series is seeing how dramatically the hardware and visual quality have evolved between episodes. Episode 1 1080p / Low Settings Intel Core i7 64GB DDR5 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 ⬇️ Episode 2 1440p / High Settings AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 32GB DDR5 AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT ⬇️ Episode 3 🔥 1440p / ULTRA SETTINGS 🔥 Intel Core Ultra 9 295HX NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU 64GB DDR5 The difference from that original 1080p Low-settings playthrough to Hogwarts Legacy running at 1440p Ultra on the RTX 5090 system is pretty incredible. The lighting, textures, environments, foliage, atmospheric effects, and overall presentation of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade are on another level compared with where this series started.
