Ahupe Ghat: The less known gem in the Bhimashankar range of Sahyadri! A quiet place where one can seek solitude with nature's grace. The entire road journey to Ahupe ghat is blessed with beautiful landscapes. We started early in the morning travelling by the Pune Nashik road. The left turn after Manchar which leads towards Bhimashankar is the main turn on the relatively straight road from Pune. One has to take a right turn near the Dimbhe Dam and then proceed alongside the Dam throughout. The road is narrow but breathtakingly beautiful so doesn't cause any fatigue in the long journey. After the backwater we took the left turn. A right turn at this junction leads towards Malin village. Ahupe village is a very small one and known for the Sacred grove ( Devrai) which hosts very old trees. There are multiple view points here and the best one is from where one can see the twin first: Gorakhgad and Macchindragad! Overall it's a wonderful place if you seek nature with less crowd around.
