Springtime Backcountry Skiing 'Ski Dreams' Sierra Nevada

On May 16th, 2026 Jens Sunny and I set out to hit a homerun in the Hoover Wilderness. It was a very tiring day as we marched up into the Matterhorn Amphitheater with the line 'Ski Dreams' on our radar. We ascended and descended in heroic conditions and enjoyed one of the biggest backcountry ski days of our lives.
