Silent Hiking - Sierra Nevada, Spain | 2-Day Trek Toward Mulhacén (4K)

Silent hiking through the Sierra Nevada in Spain. A multi-day trek along the ridge toward Mulhacén (3,479 m), the highest peak of mainland Spain. Together with my friend Lars, I set out on an adventure through Sierra Nevada National Park in Andalusia, Spain. A stunning, wild and quiet area. We barely met anyone along the way. The plan: 3.5 days of hiking straight through the range, following the ridge over the three highest summits: Mulhacén (3,479 m), Alcazaba (3,371 m) and Pico Veleta (3,396 m). Unfortunately, Lars took a fall on day 2 and we had to descend into the valley to the village of Capileira in the Alpujarra. A real shame, but we'll be back. Part 2 is coming and this time we'll tick off every summit. Flying drones is not allowed in Sierra Nevada National Park, so this video was filmed entirely with a fixed camera.
