He is the last person to come out of the Fire, and he comes out crawling. He asks Allah to turn his face away from the Fire, then for a tree, then for the gate, each time promising it is the last thing he will ask. Jannah seems full to him. Then Allah tells him: for you is the like of the world, and ten times like it. The whole story in seven moments, from Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, with every detail tagged to the narration it comes from, and the Prophet's ﷺ own answer to why he laughed when he told it. 0:00 The last man out of the Fire 0:33 #1 He comes out crawling 1:16 #2 "Turn my face away from the Fire" 1:50 #3 Three trees 2:30 #4 At the gate of Jannah 3:18 #5 "I found it full" 3:41 #6 Ten times the world 4:37 #7 "Are You mocking me?" 5:19 Why the Prophet ﷺ laughed Explore the series: Stations of Judgment Day    • Stations of Judgment Day | Five Minute Deen   Watch next: Every Punishment the Prophet ﷺ Saw in One Dream    • The Night Two Angels Showed the Prophet ﷺ ...   Previous episode: The First 3 People Judged on Judgment Day    • The First 3 People Judged on Judgment Day   Sources: Sahih Muslim 186 (Ibn Mas'ud): the last of the people of the Fire to come out, crawling; "Go and enter Jannah"; it seems full to him; "for you is the like of the world and ten times like it" (or: "ten times the like of the world", a narrator's doubt); "Are You mocking me, or laughing at me, while You are the King?"; the Prophet ﷺ laughed until his back teeth showed; it used to be said: this is the lowest in rank of the people of Jannah.
