As we enter Winter, the days are shorter and darkness falls quickly.. the colors of the setting sun and the bold beautiful night sky chose my color palette for this piece. The gorgeous deep Indigo and Prussian Blue play beautifully with that wonderful Red Violet. I hope you enjoy! Im using a 20x24 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artists Loft. The Wanderlust pour is two wandering straight pours, poured diagonally toward each other, in order to maximize the fingerlings in the composition. I really enjoy this technique, not only for the beautiful lines created by the fingerlings, but also the softer diffuse area full of cells that is on either side. I will be teaching classes in this technique in Dublin, Ireland in June 2024 at the Fluid Art Boutique! I really like several parts of this painting.. especially the stretched out corner with the wonderful multicolored cells. There is a lot of energy and movement in this that make it very dynamic.
