Wild Camping in RAIN with my Dog - Why I Had to Move

I love solo camping, but over the summer holidays it can be hard to find a place to go where you have it all to yourself. This camp, between Christmas and New Years, was always going to be a challenging one. The busiest camping season in New Zealand. It took hours and many failed attempts but I finally found a perfect little spot alongside a river. I got the tent up just in time for a snooze in the afternoon rain. With just the mesh inner of my Pomoly Hussar 2 tent and a tarp I could look out at the gorgeous rain and remind myself why it is worth persevering rather than giving up. I was so close to calling it a day and going home, but I am so glad I didn't. This was just the break away that Indi and I needed. Thanks for joining us. We hope you enjoy the video.
