The first snow is here! + A week in our life

We headed out for a mountain drive today to see if we could find the first signs of snow in the higher elevations. It is such a beautiful time of year to get out and explore the mountain scenery as the fall foliage begins to change color. We climbed up to about 3,000 feet and were lucky enough to find a dusting of snow on the ground, which was a nice surprise. We also spent some time checking on our tomato plants in the greenhouse and getting some prep work done in the kitchen. This latest homestead vlog captures a bit of everything, from the quiet moments on the road to the daily chores that keep our place running. It is always a good reminder to enjoy the changing seasons while we can.
