How I Finish My Punch Needle Coasters 🍂✂️ | Backing Tutorial Part 1

Our autumn punch needle coasters are finished… but what about all that extra fabric around the edges? 👀✂️🍂 Welcome to Part 1 of finishing the backs of my 12 Autumn Punch Needle Coasters! 🧶✨ Here’s how I prepare and fold the fabric edges: ✂️ First, I cut out each coaster individually, leaving approximately two finger-widths of extra fabric around the edge. ✂️ Next, I make small cuts into the excess fabric, approximately one finger-width apart. These little cuts make it much easier to fold the fabric neatly around the round shape of the coaster. 🔥 Then I apply hot glue — or another suitable adhesive of your choice — to each section and carefully fold the fabric toward the back of the coaster. 🧶 While folding, I make sure the fabric is tucked in neatly so no excess fabric is visible from the front or around the finished edges.
