I'm back after more than a month away — and Day 3 of my volunteering has changed everything I thought about this place. Today I worked in the garlic field, pulled stones out of horse manure, and met another girl who's trading her own vegetables for the right to work on the owner's land. After what I saw, I need to be honest with you: this is NOT a good place to volunteer, and I'm telling everyone watching NOT to come here. Full details are coming later — but for now, please hear this warning. In this video (Day 3 of my volunteering series), I share: • What a real day of work in a garlic field actually looks like • The back-breaking job of picking stones out of horse manure • The story of a girl who puts her OWN vegetables on the owner's land and works his garlic field in return • Why I feel the owner of this place is not good to volunteers • Why I honestly don't know how long I'll stay • My honest warning: do NOT volunteer here until you hear the full story This video is for anyone searching for honest volunteer experiences, working-holiday tips, farm volunteering reviews, or a real, unfiltered look at what garlic farm work is like. If you're thinking about volunteering abroad or doing a work-exchange, watch this first. 🔎 QUESTIONS ANSWERED IN THIS VIDEO Q: Is farm volunteering worth it? A: It depends on the host — and this host, honestly, is not good to volunteers. Q: What is a typical day of volunteering on a garlic farm like? A: Long hours of planting and weeding in a garlic field, plus hard cleanup work like removing stones from horse manure. Q: Is a work-exchange (vegetables for labor) a good deal? A: I met a girl trading her own vegetables to work the owner's land — and it showed me how uneven these deals can be. Q: Should you volunteer at this place? A: Not right now. I'm asking people NOT to volunteer here until I share the details. 🌱 ABOUT THIS SERIES I'm documenting my volunteering journey day by day — the good, the bad, and the parts nobody warns you about. Day 1 and Day 2 showed the surface; Day 3 showed the truth.
