| Matthew 23:1

In Matthew 23, Jesus warned His followers against religion that is used for personal benefit, self-exaltation, and outward show. It is easy to claim we follow Jesus, but are we truly following His heart, or are we using religion to serve our own selfish interests? True discipleship is about inner transformation, humility, and genuine obedience—not picking and choosing God's Word only when it serves our convenience or personal gain.
