This video will show the effectiveness of the Silver Horde OAL12R hoochie. Also known as the Purple Haze UV Squid. At the end of the video I'll show you guys my custom built hoochie with the info you need to build your own. I was hoping to utilize my new kill bag today, but it looks like I will have to wait until tomorrow morning. I no longer need that huge cooler up on the bow, and now I have more room for Big Bear. One of our three Belgian Malinois pups. If you notice how sometimes I have my rod placed on the holder on the starboard side facing inboard opposite of my downrigger- this is to keep my line behind the boat when there is a lot of salad floating around. Reduces the chance of line fouling by a huge margin. One of the perks of fishing solo. Works extremely well.
