Southwater Parish Council

In this episode Shirley Blanch and Dr Tara Quinn from the Conversation Starter Project CIC speak to Veronika Toth the Community Engagement Officer from Southwater Parish Council. Southwater Parish Council is all about supporting the people who make our village such a great place to live. They work with local groups, schools, volunteers and residents to help bring the community together through events, activities and shared projects. Listening to people and encouraging them to get involved is also a big part of what they do. They are proud to support opportunities that make Southwater special and also look after community spaces and facilities so they can be enjoyed by everyone. The goal of Southwater Parish Council is to help create a welcoming, active and thriving community where everyone feels they belong. And they are always there to help and encourage people.
