The day started calmly in Moab, Utah. I entered Arches National Park, explored the breathtaking rock formations, captured cinematic drone shots, and enjoyed the desert beauty. But after brunch, I made a big decision instead of continuing deeper into desert terrain, I decided to head west toward California. That’s when everything changed. As I rode across western Utah, dark clouds swallowed the sky. Rain began pouring. Within minutes, rain turned into hail. The highway slowly turned white. Truckers pulled over. Visibility dropped. Temperature plummeted. I was stuck in the middle of a violent hailstorm for nearly an hour and a half. Even emergency alerts warned about flash flooding and dangerous road conditions. When the storm finally eased, the mountains were covered in snow. The scenery looked unreal but the ride was brutal.
