Crashing The Africa Twin 2-Up In Deep Sand! (Arches National Park)

Part 3 of our Southwest off-road adventure! After tackling 10,000 feet in Colorado, we crossed into Utah to explore the backcountry trails of Arches National Park on the 2018 Honda Africa Twin. Everything was going smooth until the hardpack disappeared and we hit deep desert sand. Riding a heavy adventure bike on 50/50 tires is difficult enough, but doing it two-up with Brooke on the back made keeping the front wheel straight nearly impossible. Before we knew it, the front washed out, and we went down hard in the sand. See how we handled the crash, picked up a loaded Africa Twin in deep sand, and made it back out!
