GURUGRAM ROAD RAGE: SIYA SAYS SUV DELIBERATELY RAMMED HER BIKE A Sunday morning ride in Gurugram turned into a frightening road confrontation for biker Siya. ▪️She says a blacked-out car followed her, its occupants allegedly taunting and harassing her before repeatedly cutting into her path. Then came the crash. ▪️According to Siya, the car crossed lanes and hit her motorcycle from behind before speeding away. The incident, captured on motorcycle and dashcam footage, has now raised a bigger question: when a road confrontation appears to escalate into a deliberate collision, how quickly does the law move? According to her account, the occupants appeared to be under the influence and began taunting her, making gestures and repeatedly moving into her path. Siya alleges that the SUV then moved sharply across multiple lanes before striking her motorcycle. She says her motorcycle suffered major damage, including broken front and rear brakes. Her protective riding gear, she believes, prevented more serious injuries. She alleges that the vehicle deliberately hit her and describes the incident as an attempted murder and hit-and-run. Those are serious allegations, and establishing criminal intent remains a matter for the police and the courts. If the footage establishes reckless or intentional driving, the response cannot stop at a traffic challan.
