First, we analyzed a long vertical trade that moved against us, discussing what happened, the lessons learned, and how proper risk management helps traders navigate challenging market conditions. We also closed a non-traditional put diagonal position that had been in place since May, tallying the final results and examining how the trade evolved over time. With those positions behind us, we shifted our focus to new opportunities. Using stocks exhibiting strong directional trends, we entered two new example trades: one bullish long vertical and one bearish long vertical. We discussed the rationale behind each setup, the technical characteristics that supported the trade decisions, and the risk-reward considerations involved.
