Later that night, we had to walk around 300 metres through the forest in complete darkness to reach our vehicle parked on the roadside to get some stuff. What sounds like a short walk became a thrilling experience, with the possibility of tiger and leopard movement in the area. The trail even passes a small waterfall — a place where wild animals frequently come to drink water. But the real jungle drama began after we returned to the Forest Rest House. As soon as we reached our room, the continuous calls of a Barking Deer started echoing through the forest. Strange bird calls and mysterious sounds continued around us, making the atmosphere incredibly intense. And when morning arrived, the jungle was still telling us something… First came the sounds of birds, followed by repeated alarm calls from Barking Deer and Sambar Deer, and later, even Spotted Deer started calling from the same direction. With tiger and leopard movement apparently continuing around the area from the previous evening into the morning, every sound suddenly felt significant. We also explore and show you our beautiful Hexa Cottage, where we'll be staying for the next few days after previously staying at the Sky Cottage.
