SYNC SS27 by Ximena Corcuera | Paris Fashion Week Presented during Paris Fashion Week, SYNC SS27 by Ximena Corcuera, in collaboration with artist Llorenz Sendra, explores fashion as a space for empathy, dialogue, and collective creation. In a world shaped by hyperstimulation and emotional disconnection, SYNC returns to the body as a sensory archive, where intuition, emotion, and play become forms of knowledge beyond words. Developed through a process of mutual learning and co-creation with Llorenz, a non-speaking autistic artist with Level 3 autism support needs, the collection challenges conventional ideas of communication, creativity, and normality. Here, neurodivergence becomes a source of new perspectives, creative possibilities, and meaningful human connection. Process takes center stage. Imperfection, experimentation, and play become essential parts of creation, allowing garments to evolve into wearable sculptures and inhabitable canvases. Through multisensory materials, sculptural forms, and artistic experimentation, gesture, movement, and emotion are translated into fashion. More than a collection, SYNC is an invitation to experience rather than explain, to embrace difference as a catalyst for connection, and to rediscover the ways we communicate beyond language.
