Pangeo: A Big Data Ecosystem for Scalable Earth System Science | SciPy 2018 | Hamman

Pangeo is a community driven effort for open-source big-data in the Earth System Sciences. In this presentation, we will introduce the Pangeo community, describe the core software stack that includes Xarray, Dask, and Jupyter, and provide examples of how the improved integration of these libraries is facilitating analysis of very large datasets in both high-performance computing and cloud computing environments.
