What Stakeholders in Nasarawa Said After a Year of Agroforestry

9,000 seedlings. 157 hectares. 368 farmers across two communities in Doma LGA. Some of it worked. Some of it didn't. This is the honest version. Between June 2025 and March 2026, APEARE worked with farmers in Ajimaka and Rukubi, Nasarawa State, to build climate resilience through agroforestry and agroecology. We established ten demonstration farms, trained 83 farmers in sustainable land management, registered 13 cooperatives representing 139 farmers, and harvested roughly 4,500kg of sesame. We also lost trees to late planting, grazing pressure, and drought. This video covers what worked and what didn't.
