Autumn Day Book Flip Through | Cozy Coffee Shop Autumn Junk Journal | Seasons in Blue

This one has been such a pleasure to create and marks the beginning of my autumn journaling journey. For the cover I’ve repurposed a beautiful book cover featuring an autumn coffee shop scene, layering it with autumn-themed fabric and lace and reinforcing both the inner and outer spine. The front continues the cosy coffee shop in autumn theme, while the back takes us into an autumnal woodland. Inside, the end papers and the first and last signature covers are all mixed media, combining stamping, paint, postcards and lace pockets. My September pages continue the coffee shop theme and are filled with some of my favourite Daphne’s Diary pages — including new coffee shop and pastry illustrations, autumn leaf papers, vellum pages and stickers. I’ve also tucked in a few postcards and greetings cards for extra interest and journaling inspiration. I particularly loved using the Autumn in the City stickers and washi tape on some squared maths paper that I experimented with dyeing in Chai tea. The paper has the most gorgeous faint gingerbread-like scent! ☕️🍂 I’m really enjoying journaling on squared paper too — I think it keeps my entries just that little bit tidier! The journal is finished with brown edging threaded through the front and back rings, adding another cosy autumn touch. I also wanted to mention Yuiliana from Yanas Crafting. I’ve loved using her beautiful autumn papers over the years, including one of my favourites featuring bus stops.
