Hunan Yijin Mining, a 600,000 t/a copper-molybdenum mine project, was facing multiple operational headaches on its decade-old production lines: declining efficiency, frequent unplanned shutdowns, underachieved capacity and rising maintenance costs. The two crushing & screening lines were originally equipped with full NMS systems in 2016 and 2018. As service years accumulated, compounded by stricter environmental regulations, aging equipment and shortage of skilled operators, the mine suffered recurring breakdowns and heavy reliance on its standby production line. The team replaced the concave liner promptly and prevented severe equipment failure before shutdown occurred.
