Tales of Symphonia- Kilia (Mania)

Kilia is a really easy boss on every difficulty, and if you're playing Mania, she should come across as a bit of a breather. There's only one enemy, and she focuses mostly on close range, so your magic users are basically in no danger of being seriously hurt in this battle, and can cast with impunity, especially Raine, popping off Photons and obliterating Kilia, who has a weakness to Light. It's just as she said at the beginning of this battle: "not much of a specimen..." sick, epic burn!!! With Kratos or even Collette working in tandem with you to keep her off your magic users, they have nothing to fear. Collette is a great other option as a teammate in this battle since she has Angel Feathers which can also decimate Kilia, and I feel a little disappointed that I didn't think to put her in there. Kilia's attacks can hurt, but she pulls off so few of them and they're so easily dodged that you also don't have to worry about that. Something important that could turn the course of the battle a little though: she always starts the fight by casting Acid Rain, which significantly lowers the defense of your whole team. I knew she was gonna pop this off as soon as the battle started so i rushed in to pull off a Unison Attack and knock her straight out of it. After that, the double punch of Llloyd and Kratos kept her super occupied in melee and Raine kept coming off the top ropes with Photon to utterly decimate Kilia. I leveled up the party so she was at Level 20 and had the Professor title unlocked. maybe collette also had Chosen, but I'm not sure. really, this battle is so easy that you almost don't even need a strategy for it. just rush in and do whatever you want at that level. get a friend over and be genis and raine together and have all four characters run up and whack Kilia. I've actually seen that before, it's part of a speedrunning strat ;)
