Reviewing the Windlass Steelcrafts Mexican Bowie | Bowie Knife Fighting Techniques | FMA

The Windless Steelcraft Mexican Bowie is perhaps the most unique production Bowie knife in today’s market. Based on a Bowie knife design from a private collection, the Mexican Bowie is also reminiscent of Filipino Knife designs found primarily in Ilocos Norte. During Spanish colonization, there was enough of an exchange between Mexico and the Philippines to explore the possibility that this design may very well be the first integration of two warrior cultures into a fighting Bowie Knife. In this video, I explore the Mexican Bowie Knife’s design ergonomics, its cutting capability, and ultimately how it integrates with my Estocada method.
