Gameplay of Heavy Splatling Deco on splat zones. Yeah, it's been soooo long since I've made a video on X-Battle. Normally, I play on Anarchy Battle since it's usually more chill there, but I wanted to give it a shot, despite how frustration that mode can be. Thanks to @mushrrommario9127 for requesting this weapon. Heavy Splatling is a mid range weapon that has a good DPS, solid damage, good paint output, average charge speed, and solid mobility. And the kit is quite alright. Point sensor is a sub weapon that creates an area that marks enemy's positions. And Kraken Royal is a special weapon that allow you to transform into a giant kraken and attack opponents while being invincible to damage. Now let's talk about the strength and weakness of this weapon and it's kit. Heavy Splatling is quite solid at applying some pressure and supporting the team. The charge speed is quite solid and once fully charged, it has good range to even outrange other mid-range weapon and does good damage and DPS to quickly shred through opponents. And it has good paint output to quickly paint an area and build up your special. But the weapon is vulnerable when it charging up it's attack. And although it has good range, long range weapon like chargers can bully this weapon out of it favorite positions. Point sensor can help in locating opponents hiding behind cover. The opponent stay mark for quite a while, making you and your teammate aware of your opponent's position. But the sub doesn't paint or deal damage, so it's not very effective to displace opponent. Tho the sub is quite cheap to use, so it's not bad to throw one out at a cover to locate your opponents. And kraken royal is a solid special that can help you apply a bit of aggro pressure while being invincible to damage. You can swim through enemy's ink at a good speed and attack enemies by either jumping, squid rolling, or doing a charged attack. Tho with the charge attack, you can aim at any direction and take less knockback. But although your invincible to damage, enemies can still shoot you to knock you back. And since you have to be very close to get damage onto opponent, enemies can just avoid your approaches. Also the start up and end lag are a bit slow, so careful when immediately activating the special or when the special about to end. So when playing Heavy Splatling Deco, you want to focus on supporting your team with your paint output. Try to take out enemies that are in the open and try to keep control of that area. As you gain more control, you can start pushing up to apply some pressure. Just try to have a half or fully charged attack ready before engaging into a fight and utilizes cover when pushing up. Throw out some point sensor to constantly have enemies marked and once you have your special, activate it to defend yourself or apply some pressure. Just remember to manage your ink output and try not overextending too much. Thanks for reading this and hope you guys enjoy the video.
