‪@DrPiyushChaudhari‬ A “Fever Profile” may include tests such as CBC, CRP, Dengue tests, Malaria tests, Widal/Typhoid tests, urine tests and other rapid or serological tests. But does every patient with fever need the same set of tests? The answer is not always. Different infections can have subtle but important differences in their symptoms, clinical clues, epidemiology and stage of illness. These clues can help doctors decide which tests are appropriate, when they should be done, and how their results should be interpreted.
