In 1912, Arizona lawman Lyedecker crosses into Mexico in pursuit of Yaqui Joe, a half-Yaqui bank robber who has stolen money for a very different reason than the lawman expects. Joe used the money to obtain weapons for his people, who are fighting against brutal oppression. Their paths soon lead them directly into the hands of General Verdugo and his soldiers. When Lyedecker tries to intervene, he finds himself imprisoned alongside the man he was hunting. Forced to work together, the two men escape and disappear into the Mexican hills. There they meet Sarita, a determined Yaqui revolutionary whose own struggle against the authorities is deeply personal. She convinces Lyedecker to put aside his original mission and help rescue villagers who have been taken hostage. As the three unlikely allies move deeper into the conflict, Lyedecker begins questioning where his loyalty truly belongs. What started as a manhunt becomes a dangerous fight against an army determined to crush the rebellion. With rifles, horses, and a small band of rebels facing overwhelming forces, the fugitives prepare for a final assault that could change the fate of an entire community.
