2026 FRA train along the Long Island Railroad

It’s that time again. The FRA train returned to Long Island to inspect all of the branches at the end of September. It was very cool to see. Locations in this video are listed in order below. The Kaintuck Lane railroad crossing in Mill Neck, the old Mill Neck train station, Mineola, Nassau Boulevard, Garden City, Farmingdale, Greenlawn, the Lawrence road crossing in Kings Park, Smithtown, a hitch in between Northport and Kings Park, the North Wellwood Avenue railroad crossing in North Lindenhurst, Amityville, Oceanside, the Franklin Place railroad crossing just west of Woodmere, Malverne, and Lakeview.
